In my last post I mentioned that I am couponing now. I save money with the manufacturers' coupons, a dollar here and forty cents there. I would save more if I shopped at stores that doubled and tripled their coupons. But living in NYC, our stores don't do that. I actually shop in NJ to save money, but my stores still don't double or triple coupons.
My favorite blogs to find coupons are:
Budget Savvy Diva
Free Coupon Alerts
Another great resource is www.coupons.com

But... I have to say, I save so much more with the store coupons. Every Thursday and Friday I scan certain pages that offer links to store coupons or the actual printable coupon. No need to sign up to the store's emails. No need to have their credit card. You can find discounts on one item, or your entire purchase. Many restaurant chains have printable coupons also. Often you can find freebies in the restaurant coupons. You can find them in your local newspapers, online to print out, store flyers and so on. Some of the stores I print coupons for are:
Aeropostale, Express, Gap, Babies R Us, ACE Hardware, Lane Bryant, Old Navy, Macy's, Torrid, Avenue, Kohl's, Famous Footwear, AC Moore, Michaels, Build-a-bear, JC Pennys, AMC Theaters, Target, Jiffy Lube, Children's Place.
Some of the restaurants are:
Fudruckers, Long John Silvers, Ruby Tuesday's, Orange Julius, Chilis, Red Mango, Jamba Juice, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Starbucks, TGI Fridays, Wendy's, Arby's, Dunkin Donuts, Baskin & Robbins, Subway, PF Chang's, Boston Market, and many, many others not in our area.
Here are two of my favorite sites for printable coupons:
Brad's Deals
Click on the "Printable Coupons" tab. I gave you the link to the main page because there are so many great deals I didn't want you to miss them. Check back periodically.
Mommy Saves Big
This is where I get most restaurant coupons. But this site also has other coupons. So don't leave any stone unturned. Coupons are everywhere.
My best asset for finding current coupons is Twitter. I follow everyone I mentioned in this post. I follow a bunch of others also. They all have been great assets to me and my pocketbook.
