Dinner with my mom, brother and son last night was fun. We ate well and talked and talked.
This is what I made for my mom. She loves sunflowers. It's my first attempt at a granny square quilt. I'm looking forward to the next one.
Then today I went out with my friend's daughter, Jalissa. She got me this:
Meet Julia. She's a month old. She's so friendly and inquisitive. She has a great appetite and is not shy with us at all. She's already explored the entire apartment. Bella doesn't like her yet, but I know that will change. The whole point of another cat is to keep Bella company. It will take some time, but Bella can be loving when you grow on her.
